1-Presentation:
This is our little homage to one of the most renowned games on all the golden 8-bit era; a game that showed how far the Ultimate genius could go with their Filmation technique. The development of this game got us more than four years, with long inaction periords interlaced with short intervals of frantic activity. Anyway, we expect you have as much fun playing the game as we've had making it :)
By the way, this is the first game featuring an isometric engine called Isomot. You can download it for free too from here, if you are interested ;)

We've made this program on our free time, just for the fun of it and with no intention of earning any money at all, and the original copyright still belongs to Ultimate (now Rare). So, any commercial use of it is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. Having said that, as long as we are involved, you are free to distribute this game on any form you like, as long as there's no money involved, as long as this documentaton goes with it, and keeping clear we are not the original copyright holders and have no relationship whatsoever with them.

To activate each cryochamber, you must find the right thermolec valve and drop it over the room's energy cell. There are four different kinds of thermolec valves; an hologram over each energy cell will tell you the right kind of valve you need for each one.

Une variante du jeu "Head Over Heels" (dans le Bottin), par l'Alien 8 Team.
Il utilise un moteur maison dénommé Isomot.
Alien 8 est une variante de "Head Over Heels" (dans le Bottin), un puzzle plateformer en 2.5D dans lequel le joueur dirige le robot d'un vaisseau spatial en chemin vers sa destination, dont l'objectif est de sortir chaque membre d'équipage de sa chambre cryogénique (cryochamber) avant que le vaisseau ne soit rendu à sa destination. Problème, ces cryochamber sont disséminées sur le vaisseau, il faudra donc les retrouver ainsi que la vanne Thermolec qui lui correspond, pour l'activer.
Son développement a nécessité 4 années.
En résumé, votre mission dans ce jeu est d'activer toutes les chambres cryogéniques (cryochamber) dispersées dans le vaisseau spatial. Ces chambres cryogéniques détiennent l'équipage cryogénisé du vaisseau, et vous devez tous les activer avant que le vaisseau n'atteigne sa destination, vous devez donc réveiller l'équipage avant qu'il ne soit trop tard ...
Pour activer chaque cryochamber, vous devez trouver la vanne Thermolec droite et la déposer sur la cellule d'énergie de la pièce. Il existe quatre différents types de valves Thermolec; un hologramme sur chaque cellule d'énergie vous dira le bon type de valve dont vous avez besoin pour chacune d'elles.
